For this unit in journalism we focused on photography and understanding the intent behind this form of art. of course the AP is focused around trying it for our selves. Caring for the World: The meaning of life is the least helpful but best known question to the layman. The fascination with this question has given everyone their own question ranging from high concept abstract spirituality to 42. I asked my mom the same question and had a conversation with her about her exact philosophy. My mother is a recently retired environmental engineer that worked for the EPA. she has currently been dedicated to redecorating our house while planning and budgeting future renovations. “What is the meaning of life?” I asked. “Everyone has different philosophies from different religions but I'm coming from a christian religion perspective.. The meaning of life is to help other people and to make a world a better place by being in it through .. caring about other people raising your children well ...

For this unit in programming we started learning the basics of python. That includes basic syntax and commands along with setting up basic ideas to build up through the class. As proof that we learned something we were assigned to create an advanced calculator. I choose to make a volume to weight calculator.   I feel like this project worked out well. being able to snowball code I learned into one big program id help clos out this unit. Thankfully I didn't need to learn commands out side of class so it was mostly copy pasting and polishing the code. So if i ever take another chemistry class building a calculator to do the work for me has become more achievable

Chicago's Money Mind

For this last unit we have learned about investigative journalism and its purpose in society acting as a detective force open to the people. So for this units AP we tried to write a story. I decided to focus on socialism and by extension communism and run poll on opinions about the economic systems. Money in America:      On June 23rd a man was handing out that days copy of The Challenge newspaper that represented The Progressive Labor Party and this inspired me to gauge opinions about communism and socialism gathering misconceptions about the economic systems and seeing if Bernie Sanders campaign has any staying power in american politics. For the definition that will be used communism is a economic system where the state owns most property with resources will be given to citizens as needed. Socialism is either giving ownership of community resources to the entire community or an in between of communism and capitalism.      This poll is taking inform...

On Tuesday 8/31/21 My school took me to the sonic sound pavilion to learn about the manipulation of sound for the many. Of the two pieces we ha time to hear I prefer the piece by TALsounds. the work is simular in tone and sound as music by C418 with less  emphasis on the piano and for airy sounds. Throughout the work the grows stranger or spiral outs from a place of comfort to the unknown like a comet orbiting a star.  the vast field is highly subjective many people will like the open space and fresh air and others will hate the lack of chairs and climat control in the "classroom". so how conducive it is for learning is dependent on the person and the time. But if there was a way to limit the outside in a classroom to the people that will benefit

For this unit in Art of Rhetoric we focused on the early history of America and the hardships Native Americans faced along with their portrayal to Europeans and how visual rhetoric painted them in a biased false light.  Aside from that we studied various opinion pieces and more importantly how to establish your self as credible with out a formal education in the topic. So below this paragraph is my shot at an Op-Ed by expressing my credibility without an masters in the economy, or experience creating a game in the current industry Op-Ed:          G aming is a highly opinionated topic. Hypercritical and hypocritical gamers will write a manifesto on r/gaming on Reddit about how some small indie horror game is the pinnacle of gaming. Alternatively, they will treat recent popular releases as the worst games to ever exist and how the entire fanbase is toxic, while being toxic themselves. But every gamer will agree on ...
