 For this unit of Equality was focused on the future for humanity we with our final project being on what we think the world will look like 100 years from now told in a news cast format. I wanted to be optimistic for the future and for that good future for humanity involves the fall of autocratic states through out the world with democracy filling in to create a more successful government. so I focused on Russia and China more so as governments that need reworking. While these countries aren't the only autocratic states they are the biggest with China investing in other autocracies.  The Video: the Script: My political beliefs are that the best nations are the ones that give the most to ensure the expression of self.  For this project we studied audio in journalism learning about radio and its reincarnation as podcasting. we also took the time to recognize what makes a voice unique and make a podcast about what the voice repusents. CJH and I collaborated and focused ours on Stevie Wonder. For our podcast we divided the work by first recording us talking about Stevie and CJH would edit and upload then I would write the transcription. We choose Stevie Wonder because of his impact on both of our early lives and our respect for his work. For this project we had to create a podcast talking to a character from our independent reading for the project i choose Holden Caulfield from C atcher in the Rye   J.D. Salinger. Script: Intro: WWII has ended and the veterans come home many seek success through higher education because of the GI bill Additionally NATO is created because of the tension with West Europe & America and the USSR. The tension created Mccarthyism or the campaign to root out communism in the country. The end of WWII led to the post war economic and baby boom, and conformity of the nuclear family that Holden is a product. But when there is conformity there is rebellion. For this unit at GCE Lab School we were focusing on Truths and Memories for Who am I. As a final project for the unit we decided to do a podcast in a similar format to T his I Believe.  For this project I decided to voice my opinion for video games I decided to focus on video games because in the main stream they are considered dangerous and no good.
